Zik Uduma, an experienced senior living executive, joined Solstice Senior Living at Normandy Park as executive director. With over six years of senior living experience, Uduma brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong track record of success to the role.

In his new position, Uduma will be responsible for overseeing the community’s daily operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, and creating a supportive and enjoyable lifestyle for residents. With his extensive background in senior living management and skills in collaborative problem-solving and team leadership, Uduma is committed to fostering a culture-centric community.

He is a natural leader who seeks to make an impact on the lives of his team and the community at large. Zik was born in Lagos, Nigeria, the western part of Africa. He is an avid soccer and video game enthusiast. He enjoys spending his free time playing video games or binging on horror series. He is blessed with a wife and daughter.

Diana Byers is a Director of Sales and Marketing at Solstice at Normandy Park with over 16 years of experience in the senior living industry. Previously excelling in sales at Solstice at Point Defiance in Tacoma, Diana brings a wealth of expertise to her role.  

Before focusing on senior living, she had 18 years of experience in medical office management and administrative roles. With eight years each as a Business Office Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing in various senior living settings, Diana’s multifaceted skill set and dedication continue to make a profound impact in enriching the lives of seniors.    

Outside the office, Diana cherishes time spent with her family, including her three adult children and five grandchildren. She also channels her creativity into home projects and glass artistry, specializing in NFL and college mascot-themed birdbaths. 

Elizabeth Bannister has been dedicated to senior care for the past three years, gaining valuable experience across multiple communities. Her approach is characterized by exceptional communication skills and a strong team attitude. She is passionate about continuous growth, both in her career and in personal development. Building meaningful connections with residents and fostering a sense of community are central to her philosophy of care. 

Originally from Washington, she spent much of her childhood in Orlando, Florida. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, painting, delving into pop culture history and cliff-diving. 

Techilyn Ahlers began her career in senior living in 2014, initially working two jobs as a Receptionist. After a few years, she was promoted to Business Office Manager, where she fell in love with the industry and found true purpose and fulfillment in her work. She joined the Solstice at Normandy Park team as Business Office Director in July 2024 and is proud to be part of this community. 

Outside of work, Techilyn enjoys spending time with her husband and their son by going hiking and camping. Having grown up in a large family in the Philippines, she speaks three Filipino dialects and enjoys teaching her son as much as she can. 

Dean Elliot has worked for over 45 years in construction, commercial development and manufacturing. He previously worked for over six years at Fernwood in the Park, a retirement facility located in Normandy Park, and 10 years at Holiday Retirement, a senior living management company in Winter Park, Florida.  

When he isn’t working, Dean enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
